Scent Sampling Made Sexy
November 29, 2011A pushy salesman pressuring you to buy a bottle.
A cold strip of paper sprayed with fragrance.
A strong scent just suddenly sprayed on you.
Shouldn’t selling a fragrance be more sexy? After all, wearing a scent is quite personal and intimate. It’s something you cherish doing for yourself and for the people you love.
So for Hayden Fragrances, we decided to change the way fragrance selling is done. We thought it’s about time we brought back the sensuality of fragrances.

Gorgeous models were chosen not to sell Hayden fragrances but to make people smell the scents. The sexy difference: they asked people to smell the fragrance on them – on their wrist, their neck, even their body.
No annoying sales people. No paper strips. No spraying unaware.
Just an incredibly attractive person who smelled absolutely wonderful with Hayden Fragrances, asking you to have a sniff of the scent they were wearing.

Each model also wore a teasingly flirty message that invited people to come and smell them. Attraction. Seduction. But with a splash of good-natured fun.
Most important of all was the engaging conversations they had with people. No sales talk. Just imagine a friend sharing with you a scent that they liked – talking to you about why they liked the fragrance and why they think you or your loved one would feel sexy with it, too.

So in the end, we had guys smelling the girl, girls smelling the girl, girls smelling the guys, and even guys smelling the guys. Truly, fragrance sampling made sexy.
